RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND APPliCATION OF THE THREE-DIMENSION DIGITAL SHOT -DYNAMOMETRY SYSTEM

    Get PDF
The author has developed the same three-dimension digital shot dynamometry system as international standard shots of sportsmen and sportswomen. Its core is force sensor of inside resistance strain type. This system can carry on wireless measurement alone, and also carry on the synchronous measurement of kinematics and dynamics with the camera, three-dimensional dynamometry platform. It can examine the force, force curve, resultant force value, curve and impulse of human bodies to shot in the three directions of X, Yand Z. This system is high in precision and reacts quickly. This system realizes unimpeded and hurtles chec'k. It is safe and reliable. It can continuously measure, record, display, store, information processing and output and print, etc. Training experiments prove that this system is not only a kind of scientific research instrument but also a kind of training monitoring system. It will offer the strong assurance to coach and athletes' scientific training

Introduction of Western Ideology During the Late Ming and Early Qing

    Get PDF
Western Ideology such as philosophy, religion and allegory was introduced into China by the Catholic missionaries during the Late Ming and Early Qing. When introducing Christianity and theology of the Middle Ages, the Catholic missionaries introduced the characters of early western thoughts at the same time. It was beneficial to the Chinese scholars both in understanding the multiplicity of the world cultures and in improving their thinking methods

Learning nonparametric DAGs with incremental information via high-order HSIC

Score-based methods for learning Bayesain networks(BN) aim to maximizing the global score functions. However, if local variables have direct and indirect dependence simultaneously, the global optimization on score functions misses edges between variables with indirect dependent relationship, of which scores are smaller than those with direct dependent relationship. In this paper, we present an identifiability condition based on a determined subset of parents to identify the underlying DAG. By the identifiability condition, we develop a two-phase algorithm namely optimal-tuning (OT) algorithm to locally amend the global optimization. In the optimal phase, an optimization problem based on first-order Hilbert-Schmidt independence criterion (HSIC) gives an estimated skeleton as the initial determined parents subset. In the tuning phase, the skeleton is locally tuned by deletion, addition and DAG-formalization strategies using the theoretically proved incremental properties of high-order HSIC. Numerical experiments for different synthetic datasets and real-world datasets show that the OT algorithm outperforms existing methods. Especially in Sigmoid Mix model with the size of the graph being d=40{\rm\bf d=40}, the structure intervention distance (SID) of the OT algorithm is 329.7 smaller than the one obtained by CAM, which indicates that the graph estimated by the OT algorithm misses fewer edges compared with CAM.Source code of the OT algorithm is available at https://github.com/YafeiannWang/optimal-tune-algorithm

Alessandro Valignano’ Interpretation to Chinese Culture

    Get PDF
Alessandro Valignano was sent to the East for missionary work by the Society of Jesus in 1574 and died in Macao in 1606. During the 32 years of Eastern missionary work, he served as several posts and contributed greatly to the spread of Catholicism in India, China and Japan from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 17th century. Especially, he was a far-sighted organizer and planner of the Jesuit Missionary Strategy in China during that time. He had made outstanding contributions including establishing a rational Chinese cultural outlook, changing the missionary strategy in China, implementing the “cultural adaptation policy”, establishing a missionary school to train the missionaries who could master Chinese and be good at cross-cultural communication, so as to be suitable for the future of the Jesuit missionaries and remove some man-made obstacles to adapt to Chinese culture.
